Matte & Gloss Black guarantee

Our Matte, Gloss Black, and Matte Black films are backed by a 7-year guarantee, ensuring you receive long-lasting performance and protection you can trust.

1. Scope of the Guarantee

This guarantee covers the following issues that may arise with the Opticle Defense Paint Protection Film within a 10-year period from the date of installation:

• Yellowing: Any significant discoloration of the film that affects its clarity and aesthetic appearance.
• Cracking: The development of cracks or splits in the film that compromise its integrity and protective capabilities.
• Delamination: Separation of the layers within the film, leading to a loss of adhesion and effectiveness.
• Manufacturing Defects: Any other defects in materials or workmanship that compromise the performance or appearance of the film.

2. Guarantee Coverage

Should any of the above issues occur during the guarantee period, we will replace or repair the affected area of the Opticle Defense Paint Protection Film at no cost to you. This guarantee applies solely to the original purchaser of the film and is non-transferable.

3. Conditions of the Guarantee

To be eligible for coverage under this guarantee, the following conditions must be met:

• Professional Installation: The Opticle Defense Paint Protection Film must be installed by a trained and certified professional. Any installation performed by an unqualified individual or under non-standard conditions may void this guarantee.
• Proper Aftercare: The film must be maintained according to Opticle's aftercare guidelines. This includes avoiding drive-through car washes, high-pressure washing, and improper washing techniques that could damage the film.
• No Unauthorized Modifications: The film must not be altered, modified, or tampered with in any way that could affect its performance or durability.
• Timely Reporting: Any claims made under this guarantee must be reported promptly upon discovery of the issue.

4. Exclusions from the Guarantee

This guarantee does not cover the following:

• Installer Errors: Issues arising from improper installation, including but not limited to bubbles, dirt particles trapped under the film, adhesive damage from over-stretching, and installation-related scratches.
• Aftercare Damages: Damages resulting from improper aftercare, such as the use of drive-through car washes, high-pressure washing, or the use of harsh chemicals that can damage the film.
• Environmental and Chemical Damage: Damage caused by extreme environmental conditions, exposure to chemicals, or accidents beyond the film's intended protective capabilities.
• Normal Wear and Tear: The guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, such as minor surface scratches or the natural fading of the film over time due to regular use.

5. How to Make a Claim

To make a claim under this guarantee, please follow these steps:

1. Contact Us: Reach out to Opticle customer service with details of the issue, including photos and a description of the problem.
2. Proof of Purchase: Provide proof of purchase and installation by a certified professional.
   A Certified Installer is an installer officially recognized by Opticle for their expertise and skill in applying paint protection film (PPF). To achieve this status, they must successfully complete Intermediate and Advanced training programs, demonstrate proficiency by passing certification assessments, and receive final approval from Opticle trainers. This ensures they meet our high standards for quality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
3. Inspection: Opticle reserves the right to inspect the film or request additional information to determine the validity of the claim.
4. Resolution: If the claim is deemed valid, Opticle will arrange for the repair or replacement of the affected area at no cost to you.

6. Right to Deny Claims

Opticle reserves the right to deny any claim that does not meet the terms and conditions of this guarantee. This includes but is not limited to claims arising from improper installation, unauthorized modifications, improper aftercare, or other exclusions listed above.

7. Limitation of Liability

Opticle's liability under this guarantee is limited to the repair or replacement of the affected film. We are not responsible for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from the use of the film, including but not limited to damage to the vehicle or loss of use.

8. Governing Law

This guarantee is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes arising from this guarantee will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Illinois.

9. Final Provisions

By purchasing and installing Opticle Defense Paint Protection Film, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this guarantee. This guarantee is the entire agreement between you and Opticle regarding the product and supersedes any other representations or warranties, whether oral or written.
